August 8 2024 is the first day of data collection for the August 2024 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) at BPS Pacitan Regency.
Sakernas is specifically designed to provide continuous basic employment data, and the specific objective is to obtain data estimates on the number of working population, unemployment and other employment indicators, as well as their development at the national, provincial and district/city levels.
From the results of Sakernas data collection, estimated data on the number of employed people, the number of unemployed and other employment indicators will be obtained. Data collection for Sakernas August 2024 used the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) mode, namely the FASIH application.
All officers who carried out data collection have attended officer training and were declared to have passed and fulfilled the requirements to collect data in the Pacitan Regency area. When collecting data, officers are expected to follow predetermined data collection procedures. Apart from that, assistance from supervisors is also needed to maintain the quality of data collected, and is expected to provide solutions to problems that arise in the field.
It is hoped that a series of good collaborations between officers, supervisors and respondents can produce employment data that is appropriate to field conditions.
