Simultaneous Rice Planting Movement in 14 Provinces

On Wednesday (23/04), the Head of BPS Pacitan Regency participated in the Simultaneous Rice Planting Movement in 14 Provinces. This Rice Planting activity was carried out simultaneously in 14 main central provinces and centered in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province.

The implementation of the rice harvest in Pacitan Regency was located in the South Cross Route (JLS) Kembang Area, Pacitan District. The joint rice planting action was carried out, involving community leaders, farmers, and local TNI/Polri elements, as a form of real regional contribution to food sovereignty. Attended by, among others, representatives from Kodim 0801/Pacitan Captain Inf. Sukilan, Pacitan Police IPTU Didik Puji Hartono, Head of Agriculture Division of DKPP Pacitan Regency Agus Rustamto, Head of Kembang Village Sahudi, and Head of Bulog Pacitan Warehouse Dadag Aditya.

BPS together with the regional government witnessed the activity online where in his direction, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, expressed his high appreciation for the initiative to open new agricultural land to support national food security. He emphasized the importance of the role of modern technology in accelerating productivity.
