MAJOR CORN HARVEST – ASSISTED BY PACITAN POLICE

In order to support the national food security program, BPS Pacitan Regency participated in the Grand Corn Harvest activity held by the Pacitan Police in Mlati Village, Arjosari District, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. This activity is part of the food security development program involving agricultural land owned by local residents.

The event was opened and led directly by the Pacitan Police Chief, AKBP Ayub Diponegoro Azhar, S.H., S.I.K., M.I.K. Also attending the activity were Arjosari Sub-district Head Didik Darmawan, S.STP., M.M.; Head of UPT Region IV Arjosari Ina Wahyu Widiningtyas, S.Pt., M.M.; Head of BPS Pacitan Wisma Eka Nurcahyanti; and representatives from the Department of Agriculture, UPT Region IV Arjosari, village heads throughout Arjosari District, fostered farmers, and local farmer groups.

This corn harvest is expected to have a positive impact on increasing local food production and strengthening food security in the Pacitan Regency area.
