Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region. This data tool can also be used for other purposes, such as the basis for developing economic models in order to formulate policies, deepening the financial sector, setting taxes, studying exports and imports, and so on.

Until now, the calculation of GRDP has been done through two approaches, namely the industry approach and the expenditure approach. The first approach explains the aggregate GRDP related to the value added generated by various industries. The second approach explains income expenditures for final consumption and real investment activities.

The publication "Gross Regional Domestic Product of Pacitan Regency by Expenditure 2018-2022" specifically discusses GRDP according to expenditure based on current prices and constant prices. The GRDP data in this publication uses the 2010 base year and applies the System of National Accounts 2008 concept as recommended by the United Nations.
